Atom to Eternity

The Pragnya is manifested from atom to eternity. That is why mankind will get eternal happiness and peace in Pragnya. We have to limit our thinking to only necessary things (Part-V: Page 5) and stop the mechanical and aimless process of thoughts. We shall further discuss how this can be achieved. First, we shall have to learn to see (witness) the logic of the thoughts, limitations of the thoughts and the thoughts themselves. With that perception, I am writing this chapter "Atom to Eternity"

Emptiness That is Full

The particles that constitute the human body are known as cells, as Neurons in the brain and atom in the matter. The same particles are present in the whole universe. In fact, the universe is made of them. All the matters around us, i.e. objects, creatures, mountains, trees, animals, etc. are made of basic elements. The proportion of these elements may vary from object to object and creature to creature. Some of the elements, however, are not available even in Nature. First in the group of these elements is "Hydrogen". Its Nucleus has only one Proton and one Neutron. The way the planets circle around the Sun, Protons and Neutrons circle around the Nucleus. An atom consists of Protons; Elementary particles with unit positive electric charge, Neutrons; Elementary particles with zero electric charge and Electrons; carriers of electricity with negative energy. Proton and Neutron are same in weight and shape. A typical atom is approx. 9x10-10 meters in diameter, nucleus approx. 9x10-15 and Proton approx. 8x10-16 meters. Assuming that all these particles are spherical, we may derive the area as follows;

Proton 2.1x10-45 Cubic Meters
Nucleus 1.1x10-43 Cubic Meters
Atom 1.1x10-28 Cubic Meters

All these areas are very small. Yet, if we compare them, we can throw a light on the empty space within the atom. If we divide the area of Proton by the area of Nucleus we shall find the resultant 1.9x10 -2 which is 0.019 or 1.9%. It means that Proton is approx. 2% farther from the Nucleus. A matter may have a number of Protons and Neutrons according to its nuclear weight. Since the Protons and Neutrons are same in weight, they seem to be occupying most of the area of an atom. We shall, however, compare the areas of Atom and Nucleus. If we divide the two, we find that Nucleus occupies only 10-15 of the total area. We can, therefore, see that there is a huge empty space within the atom that allows the Protons, Neutrons and Electrons to move. Even if we assume that 2% to 5% of the total space within the Atom is occupied at a time, there is 98% to 95% free space. Since the cells (body & brain) have the same structure as an atom, we can conclude that there is a natural 93 - 95% thoughtlessness in the Neuron cell.

A Fusion Within

We shall, now, analyze the brain that consists of these Neurons. The brain is made up of numerous cells. All over the body the cells are known as body cells. In the brain however, the cells are called Neurons. Scientists have found that the cells on any other part of the body can recuperate if they are damaged by a wound but the brain cells can not be cured. That is the reason they call the brain cells "Neurons". Some scientists believe that there are approx. 100 billion Neurons in a human brain. Some consider this quantity to be 20 billion. Everyday, approx. one hundred thousand Neurons are wasted or destroyed in the thoughts. Some scientists believe that as the Neurons are spent or destroyed, new ones are created.

Every Neuron is joined with approximately 10,000 other Neurons through a mesh of fibrous tissues. These tissue joints are thousands of millions in numbers (approx. 100 trillion). To have an awareness of Pragnya, maximum use of these joints is necessary. The Neurons do not increase in numbers but change the formation. With such a group of 10,000 Neurons each in the brain, in the present state of mind we are able to use only 100 of them. Rest of the joints are left unused. These joints, in fact, break due to word-bound thoughts. For one single thought, approx. 90,000 to 100,000 Neurons gather in a group to work. Once the joints are broken, the brain cannot witness an event in total awareness and Pragnya. The cessation of sensitivity from one Neuron to other gives rise to imaginative tendency in Neurons. Neurons thrust for repetition of an event but cannot experience it due to broken joints. Life, as a result, always remains discontented and cannot find joy in anything. Ultimately mankind will understand this reality and try to improve the synchronous abilities of the brain and develop awareness of Pragnya for true happiness some day or other. When the joints are rebuilt between the empty space in Neurons, fibrous tissues and the empty space in the cells of the body, a person will draw back to the natural mind and this fundamental inspiration will provide him with an eternal happiness.

Emptiness is not only the inspiration of human life but also the whole universe. This emptiness, under the name of sky, engulfs the Earth, Moon, Sun, Super Nova and Galaxies within itself. From the emptiness emanates the mortals and objects and ultimately submerge in to the same. When a thoughtless, sensitive brain in Pragnya connects itself from this emptiness, the person witnesses pure and eternal happiness and reaches the apex of liberation.

A Question of Universe

The universe is infinite and contains millions of galaxies. Among these millions of galaxies is our galaxy (galaxy of twinkling stars in a silent sky) in which the Earth is orbiting around the Sun. Our Sun, along with the Earth, other planets and their satellites, are orbiting on the circumference of the galaxy. Just like our Sun, there are billions of Suns moving with their planetary system in their own galaxies. The emptiness that is prevailed in this infinite space is the same as what is inside each cell and Neuron of our bodies and every particle of this Nature. This emptiness is vibrating silently in the atom and eternity. This silent vibration is manifested in the form of light waves, sound waves, infrared, ultraviolet, Radio, Alfa, Beta, Gamma rays and x-ray. Beside these, there are numerous other rays in the universe, which science cannot name. The movements of these rays cause the birth and extinction of the stars, planets and galaxies. Inside this emptiness, the process of birth and annihilation goes on. This emptiness is known as chidaakash (yogic word for emptiness in the brain) in the human body. This is the fundamental inspiration of the human life and is boundless and eternal. We shall see how the human beings (living in a word-bound illusion) are just like a particle of dust in this eternal emptiness.

The diameter of Earth is approx.12756 kms and it rotates around its axis at a speed of 298 kms per second. It takes one year to complete the circle around the Sun. There are two small planets between the Sun and Earth; Mercury and Venus. These planets are in close proximity of Earth and therefore called Inner Planets. Other planets, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto are farther and thus called Distant Planets. Moon is Earth's satellite. The distance (emptiness) between Earth and Moon is 3884400 kms. The distance (emptiness) between Earth and Sun is approx.148.80 million kms. The last planet in our planetary system, Pluto is approx. 5.86 million kms from the Sun. It means that beside the planets, there is approx. 5.86 million km free space in our planetary system itself. The Sun, on the other hand, is approx. 1,384,000 kms in diameter and can absorb 108 thousand Earths in it. Still, in comparison with the whole universe, the Sun is just a small particle. There are bigger stars and Suns in numerous galaxies.

Our Sun is not in the centre of the galaxy but at the perimeter. It is orbiting around the centre of the Galaxy with its planetary system at a speed of 220 kms per second. It completes one full cycle in 225 million years. This is how big the emptiness is of the part of the universe. The Earth, along with the Sun, is moving in this emptiness. So far, the Sun has not completed even one cycle as per as the concept of human thought.

Our Galaxy is of the shape of a wheel. It contains approx. 1,500 billion stars. Our Sun is one of these stars. There are stars even bigger and brighter than the Sun. The Galaxy is so vast and distant that metric system is too meager for measuring the distances. The scientists have, therefore, invented a new unit called Light Year. This light year is equivalent to the distance traveled by light in one year in ether (approx. 9.5 trillion kms). The speed of light is approx. 299,270 kms per second. The Sun is approx. 148.8 million kms from the Earth. Therefore, it takes about eight minutes for the Sun Rays to reach us. We can say that the light years have brought the distance of the Earth and Sun to eight earth minutes. We can also measure the area of our galaxy in light years.

This should make us understand how vast the thoughtless and silent emptiness is and inspire us to understand the significance of thoughtlessness. We should, by now, be very clear about the importance of Pragnya, which is part of the same universal emptiness.

The wheel-shaped Milky Way is approx. 100,000 light years in diameter. Means, it will take a ray of light 100,000 light years to reach from one end to another. The nearest star from our Galaxy is Proxima Centauri, which is approx. 4.5 light years. Some stars are thousands of light years away. Besides, there are numerous such Galaxies in the emptiness of the universe. The nearest Galaxy from our Galaxy (Milky Way), is "Devyani" which is approx. 2 million light years away. The entity that controls and contains the whole system is nothing but emptiness. Billions of Suns are orbiting around the centre of this eternal emptiness. Among these Suns is our Sun; and so the Earth. The emptiness is the mother of all these creations.

Emptiness is the fundamental inspiration of our lives and once we are thoughtless and sensitive in Pragnya, we are connected to this emptiness. This is the only objective of Nature and mankind will be happy only through the same.

The fundamental natural inspiration of human life is silent, vibrating consciousness. This vibrating consciousness is the emptiness of the universe. This is Pragnya. All the galaxies and Suns in the universe are orbiting around the emptiness for a simple reason that they get energy from it. Due to this energy, they are able to sustain their existence and motions. If the universal energy is not there, the Suns will die. If our Sun dies, the Earth will die for sure. This is what the people on Earth should understand. Such is the importance of the silent, thoughtless, sensitive and vibrating Pragnya.

Every thing in the universe (including all the objects, creatures, humans and nature on the Earth) has emanated from the emptiness and will ultimately merge with it. This emptiness is known as Pragnya in the human brain. That is why it is important for us to become thoughtless and wordless. Only then will mankind be eternally happy.
