The Universe has been a mystery for mankind since times immemorial. Time and time again, scientists, philosophers and intellectuals
have been trying to make some sense out of life and our existence on this earth. Science wants to go far away to other galaxies
and discover new secrets. On the home front, they are discovering that truth might also lie in smaller things. The DNA and
the atom for instance. Scientists do not disregard the concept of Natural powers and energies, but they just want proof of
everything. They want to know everything and feel good about it. At the same time, they forget that they are not different
from other human beings. But somehow being a scientist puts a person in a different perspective. Religion puts everything
on the faith and God. Here is the battle. We keep on seeing new inventions and development. Many of the old paradigms have
long been broken. The science has invaded the human life deeper than religion in the past few decades. Science is everywhere,
from toothbrush to toilet paper. The science has, though, failed to reach the human psyche. That is where religion dominates.
We have had a lot of discoveries outside the human life but very few have been inside. That is where fear, doubt, greed,
anger and heaps of other psychosomatic components creep up. We have scaled new heights in terms of technology and science
but widened our gap of reality. We continue to live in an illusion and depend on an acquired knowledge that we consider as
truth.
We think that we know everything and are capable of knowing much more. We have witnessed progression of human life and
seen evidences of evolution. It has been happening, all right, but something has made us believe that we are our own creators.
That might be true in some other sense but surely not the way we currently perceive it. We have created some new worlds outside
but many more inside. We keep on looking outward and continually deny any inward existence. In reality, there is nothing
that is internal or external but that knowledge is far from us. We have divided the human psyche into religion, sect, race
and creed. So much so, that our children are born with a genetic ego. There has been a new craze recently to go back to ancient
values and ideology. All sorts of magicians, psychics, fortune-tellers, gurus and messiahs are cropping up in every part
of the world. We are in a confused state of mind. Science continues to defy traditions and ancient beliefs with new discoveries
and inventions. Religions are just clinging to one big factor, God; that science has not been able to bring about as yet.
In between, the ordinary person just does not know what is right and what is wrong. The world has turned too mechanical,
metaphorical and materialistic too fast. We are faced with a question of survival on one hand and our beliefs and spirituality
on the other. Then, we know we have to die one day. So where does it start and where it ends? Of what use is our world the
people who are dead or dying this very instant?
An effort was initiated by a humble and simple man about 25 years ago. He did not preach any religion; neither he tried
to establish any of his own. He did not want to create a sect or a new school of thoughts. In fact, he taught just the opposite,
to become thoughtless. His only message is to go back to the Nature. Nature is part of us and we are part of the Nature.
He is not an environmentalist either. What he speaks is not what he reads or studies, but sees. Sees not in the dream or imagination
but in Pragya, the knowledge that dawns in the thoughtless state of the brain. He is probably the only person in the world
who has seen and established the difference between the Mind and Brain. He is known to his group as Rao Maharaj or simply
as Guruji.
There is nothing in the name. The idea is to identify the ego and come out of the illusions of life. Nothing is to be
achieved and nothing is to be given away. We are there, very close to the truth but cannot see it with the eyes we have.
Everything remains the way it is, only, the way we see it, changes. When the realization dawns, the seer disappears. We all
become one. Nothing remains divided. Just the false ego goes away. The true knowledge dawns when all other knowledge drops.
The secrets are revealed when they do not make any difference to us at all, for we are the very part of it. It is not possible
in the present state of mind. It is not a miracle or a trick. It is an individual journey from nowhere to anywhere.
What follows is the mystery of the brain unfolded in most simple language and terms. Each chapter provides some insight
that has to be first acknowledged and then adhered. Your feedback and queries are most welcome to us. For practical results
to achieve the thoughtless state of the Brain, we have a set of printed lessons, available upon request.
